New year's resolutions.

Let me begin by wishing you and your precious pooches a Happy New Year! I trust you have had a lovely break together over the festive period, full of wonderful walks and cosy cuddles? Unfortunately, 2017 is here and you are back to work but fortunately this is the perfect time for a fresh start and to start feeling guilt-free at work every day.

It’s easy to think that a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening will do them fine and to think they will sleep all day, but research has proven dogs should not be left alone for more than four hours a day and require a minimum of half an hour of exercise per day. They need company, a toilet break, fresh air, exercise and not to mention simple interaction with other dogs and humans. Also, you may have noticed that you are leaving home in the dark and returning home in the dark? This means not only are the dogs being left alone they are being left in the dark which can scare them if they hear noises or see lights outside. A good walk with Suzies Walkies during your working hours ensures your dog is well looked after, content and ready for an afternoon snooze before you get home a few hours later.

So why doesn’t your new year’s resolution be ‘to ensure the dog isn’t left alone all day while I am at work.’

‘Bella is always so content and happy on the evenings when I return home from work. Your help is invaluable.’

Suzies Walkies is now back to work and our services are available 7 days a week at any time of the day to suit you. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs so we can create a bespoke package for you and your precious pooch.
